About Streptomyces
Streptomyces are naturally found in the soil and in decaying plants. They are unique in their “secondary metabolism” structure – a complex structure that produces most of the world’s viable antibiotics, including: neomycin, cypemycin, grisemycin, bottromycins, chloramphenicol, and streptomycin.
