MicroChoice ® PPT
A concentrated, dry blend of stabilized bacterial spores and micronutrients formulated for the treatment of pulp and paper wastewater.
MicroChoice®PPT - Pulp & Paper Treatment is a scientifically formulated blend of concentrated bacterial cultures for use in the bioaugmentation of pulp and paper mill wastewater.
This product contains a proprietary micronutrient carrier which provides accelerated microbial germination and growth and microbial cultures that were selected for optimal enzyme production and the ability to function under a variety of environmental conditions. This combination of superior microbial cultures and micronutrient system leads to the reduction of BOD, TSS and odors in pulp and paper systems.
Unique, non-engineered cultures are stabilized and shipped in spore form, ensuring long-term stability and extended shelf life.

MicroChoice® PPT was added to waste water collected from a pulp and paper treatment facility. As shown in the graph, the use of MicroChoice® PPT alone, or in combination with a nutrient addition, were very effective at reducing the BOD in this waste material.
